A Christmas Miracle!

Dear Family,

How is everybody doing this week? Good i hope. I now one thing is that Heavenly Father is a God of Miracles. I love him so much.

I want to share with you a really cool experience I had earlier on this week. Recently I have been pondering a lot about the work in Yallahs. I know that the Lord has been pouring out his spirit out on this little area. Although the last couple weeks have been super tough. We don't have very many investigators and just a lot of distractions but one day i was reading in 2 Nephi 27. I came across verse 23 which reads "For behold, I am God; and I am a God of miracles; and I will show unto the world that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and I work not among the children of men save it be according to their faith."  After i read that i totally agreed and reflected and i had seen that pattern over and over in the mission. Usually the success didn't come until my faith was tried. I read a little further and I received a promise from the Lord.  In verse 28 I likened this scripture to me and switched the word Lebanon for Yallahs. "But behold, saith the Lord of Hosts; I will show unto the children of men that it is yet a very little while and (Yallahs) shall be turned into a fruitful field; and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest." I am not even kidding you this Sunday we had 53 people turn up to the Yallahs branch. We have been getting between 30 and 40 people every week.  I didn't have enough time to interview all the people who came back. There was at least 10 less actives back, three investigators, and 1 visiting member along with the regular attending members. It truly was a miracle.

I just want you all to know that when life gets tough it is time for us to be even more faithful because only then is when the blessings come. It is easy to have faith when life is easy but it isn't as easy when life is tough but that is when it is the most important. I Love the Savior so much, he is my constant help. His promise has been fulfilled and he has not left me comfortless. I know he lives. Thanks family for all you do. i love you so much.

Love Elder Stuart
