Merry Christmas!!

Dear Family,

How is everybody doing this week? It sounds like everybody is way too excited to see me haha just teasing i believe that I probably am the most excited. :) Well this week for me has been really exciting and awesome and soooo cool!! Haha. Not literally cool but used as a form of emotion.

First story:

My companion is soooo gullible haha and is really fun to tease :). So this week we got a lot of new kitchen and household appliances for Christmas. Well the office elders brought us a blender and a griddle and a washing machine. So we have it all there and after the office elders left we examine the washing machine and start trying to figure out a way to hook it up. Well I end up saying in a joking manner that i don't even want the washing machine any more and that we should just have the office elders come and pick it up. I was totally joking but Elder Mathewson thought i was serious. So Elder Howard and Elder Groesbeck pick up the sarcasm in my voice and then we all started acting like we don't want the machine anymore. So i make a fake phone call to the office elders and tell them to come pick up the machine. By this time Elder Mathewson is so upset. He check the phone to see if i really called and see's that i didn't. Well Elder Howard and Elder Groesbeck keeps it going some how and he still believes us right up until the time that he calls the office elders and asks them about it and he does and we are all laughing really hard. Instead of being mad at us he was more relieved about not losing the washing machine.  Well the next day we get the washing machine hooked up and turn it on and get this..... Water is flooding the kitchen. The machine was broken underneath insomuch that water was running everywhere!! Say good bye to the washing machine!! Karma...

Second Story:

We had a branch party this week for Christmas. It was really fun. We had members bring a bunch of friends. One member friend we had been teaching came and his mother was invited by a completely different member so we had a mother and a son there. We had never met his mom before and they both from two different sources showed up to the party. We also had another member bring a friend who came up to me and said ," I have been trying to talk to you all night, How do i become a member of this church?" I was so excited. We are seeing her this Thursday.

Third Story:

The Christmas devotional was incredible. It was held in Spanish Town. My companion sang a solo and i was in charge of teaching short mini restoration lessons at an information booth. There were 776 people who came to the devotional and over a thousand watch it over the broadcast!!! The theme for the devotional was "We Believe in Christ" and the story of the program was when Christ visited the nephites. I was really stressed out because last minute for Yallahs the bus man called and said his bus was broken down but he had a friend coming to pick everyone up. Well Yallahs was a little late but miraculously when they all came they all got seats in the main part. I will tell you what when i saw them get off the bus my soul leaped for joy and what added more to that was how many people came. Just for our little branch we had 10 less active members 6 nonmembers and 12 active members come. I was so happy. After the devotional everybody loved it. Also I was able to see all my Old Harbour family. I haven't seen them in over a year!! I saw sister Phillips, Atanya and Jeromey, and sister Dennis, and many more.

Forth Story:

Today while i was in Morant Bay we stopped to eat. Well at the restaurant somebody taps me on the shoulder and says, " Hey do you remember me?". It was a former investigator named Kizzy from cayman!! We stopped teaching her because she moved back to Jamaica!! What in the world is happening?! I was so excited I took her number so we can call her. She actually lives in our area too!! What a blessing!!

Well that is all for the Christmas miracles. I Love you all and hope you have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!!

Love Elder Stuart
