Dear Family,
This week has been a great week. There has been a lot of ups and a lot of downs and a lot of great things and a lot of frustrating things. But in the end Satan has no power over us. Although he does influence a lot of people to make excuses and jumble up their priorities.
The man that i told you about last week that we met in a bank is awesome. We haven't been able to have an actual discussion with him yet but he just randomly showed up at Friday night activity with one of his daughters and he loved it. He has a family and has been married for 13 years as well as he has two vehicles and he is just elect. I really hope and pray everything turns out well for him.
This week otherwise has been hard to manage time well. There has been a lot of distractions with the branch stuff but hopefully we can figure it out so we can be more effective. It is just hard to be consistent with the people we are working with when there are all of these crazy errands i am running all the time.
Well we had a couple of cool things happen for us this week. On thanksgiving we made a thanksgiving feast. We made Scalloped potatoes, roasted chicken, mac and cheese, sweet corn, kool aid, and no bake cookies!! It was so much fun. Elder Howard and I were the cooks. I made the scalloped potatoes and the no bake cookies and he made the chicken and the mac and cheese.
Also every morning we have been playing football (soccer) with the local kids at 6 am. Well one morning we decide we didn't want to go and so we slept to the normal time 6:30. Well in our attempt to sleep in to that time a little boy came up and knocked on our window at 6:15. He wanted us to come and play so we woke up and went. It was fun same way.
Other than all that nothing much has happened this week. It was really nice and good things are happening here for us. Keep up the great work. I love you all.
Love Parker
