Chickens

Dear Family and Friends,

This week has been really crazy. There is a lot going on here in Yallahs. Transfers is this week coming and Elder Adams is leaving me. I will be getting Elder Mathewson!!!! Again hahaha. It should be a great transfer. So something cool that is happening in yallahs is the project in the branch i am in charge of.

For the people in the branch that can't find jobs the church welfare and humanitarian is supplying the branch with chicken coops and chickens but i am in charge of it all. I have to pretty much preside over a committee of the people receiving the chickens and ensure that everything is done correctly and the coops are built as well as i have to interview the people who have been recommended to see if they really need the help. It is a lot but it should be really fun actually.

Also this week we were supposed to have a baptism until satan did his handy work. Martin was going to be baptized and his mother gave him permission and everything well the day of his interview he didn't show up. So we look for him and can't find him. I guess he went out with his grandma and his aunts and they convinced his mother that he isn't ready to be baptized. Martin seemed so great and everything. He said he was going to come to church anyway but he never showed up. We are going to see him tonight and hopefully his family as well. Keep him in your prayers.

Well also this week coming is zone conference on Thursday and transfers is on Wednesday. We should be pretty busy again. Well family i love the mission. It really is the greatest part of my life so far. I have learned more than i ever bargained for and continue to learn everyday. I love you all.
