How is everybody doing this week? I hope good and from the sounds of it things are going great and nothing makes me more happier than to hear that. Not a whole lot has happened this week. just the fact that as branch president i have a lot to learn. We have a grand total of 4 investigators and 2 that are progressing and only 1 who looks like he is going to be baptized. His name is Martin. He is a great kid. I don't know if i have told you all about him yet.
He was referred to us by a member because he had stolen from her. It was either us or the cops and she chose us apparently. Well before we go teach this kid i am expecting this little punk kid who doesn't really care but come to find out he is the most sincere young man in the world with a heart of gold. He has been to church 4 times now and every morning for exercise he comes and plays soccer with us. Well we taught him about the plan of salvation this week and he loved it. We asked him questions about it and he retained every detail!! it was amazing. His baptism is on November 16. It is coming right up an he is excited for it. We are seeing him tonight.
But as for everything else we are just doing our best to make each day the best day of our lives. We are praying a lot reading our scriptures a lot and riding an walking a lot and sweating a lot but guess what. I wouldn't have it any other way. I love you all and am so grateful for the examples you are to me in my life. Keep up the good work and know that God is in charge of everything except our own individual wills. He leaves that part up to us.
Love Elder Stuart
