Dear Family,
Wowzers where to begin? This week has been incredibly crazy and good. I have learned a lot this week. We have an investigator named Martin. He is 17 years old i think i told you about him last week. Well he is excited to be baptized this weekend. He had forgotten that it was this weekend and we reminded him last night and he got super duper excited. We asked him if he felt comfortable with this weekend and he closed his eyes for a few seconds and then opened them and said YES with this big grin on his face. He is an awesome kid.
Also this week we did a helping hands service project. We were supposed paint the security post at the yallahs primary school but they didn't have paint so we ended picking all the garbage in the school yard and then taking some picks and shovels and leveling out some dirt in a foundation where the school can add a little on to the building. It was pretty fun. All of us missionaries were there and three members. Hopefully we made a difference.
This week we also started Family Home Evenings up at the branch. On tuesday we had an awesome one. We had a bunch of members come and we had a lesson and an activity. We played book of mormon golf and then we played spoons and slap jack. It will be a great opportunity for the members to reactivate less active members and invite others to meet and learn more about the church.
We also met a new investiagtor through one of our members. it is her son and his childs mother died three years ago. He read off the plan of salvation and he really liked it. We had a great discussion with him that ended with "i will be baptized." He is prepating for December 7th.
Well that is pretty much the week. I have had a lot of fun and great things are happening. I hope and pray that things continue to go well for everyone back home. I love each of you so very much and remember who you are and where you come from. Keep up the good work and make this week the best week of your life.
Love Elder Stuart
