Dear Family,
You are not going to believe all that is happened this week. So for starters last week we had zone meeting. During zone meeting we learned a lot about working with members. While at zone meeting President Brown pulled me aside. The branch president in Yallahs is a senior Elder in the mission. He had some health problems and had a minor stroke this week. so they released him from being branch president. President Brown pulled me aside to tell me that they will be calling me to be the branch president here in yallahs!!! I don't even know what to do. It is definitely going to be a challenge and I am sure very very stressful but one thing I do know is what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and that I have been called by the Lord. So sunday rolls around and they sustain me as branch president and say well good luck and just threw me into the shark tank, so to speak. I know there are two ways to look at this but I am going to look at it as an opportunity to really work in unity with the branch to do missionary work.
Also this week we had an amazing opportunity. On Monday, the reason why we changed pdays for the week, we had an activity at the branch. There were 60 + people here. Active members, Less active members and some non members. There was music games and food. As well as some spiritual messages and talents. Well, We, the missionaries, taught everybody there the message of the restoration, and then sand "Hark all ye Nations". It was an incredible experience for us.
Well that is pretty much it for this week. I am really grateful for the blessings I have gained this week. I know the Lord works in mysterious ways but my purpose in this life is to serve him with all my heart might mind and strength. Thanks for your prayer and your support.
