Book of Mormon, Bolt, Pinkeeeberry Gold, and Panic Attack!!!

In case you were wondering he did actually get some ice cream from last week. :)

Hello everybody from Jamaica!!!

Everything here is going great!!! and I can already tell how excited you all are to read the email this week just from reading the subject. As you can tell a little bit of everything has happened this week.

Well to start I'll talk about the Book of Mormon. A few days ago we had taught a pretty good investigator his first lesson. He acted really interested, I was pretty excited to have a potential priesthood investigator (they are hard to come by). Well the next day he decides to contradict everything the message of the restoration was teaching and thought he knew what he was talking about. Well by the end of his argument he was just spinning in circles and was really confused. He asked me a question which made no sense at all and he asked me if i understood the question and I looked at him and said, "Do you understand your question??" he had no answer. Well everything that we taught had proof in the bible and the Book of Mormon and he was officially confounded.

Then later in the week another good investigator, Brother Daley, said that his preacher said that he couldn't meet with us. We asked him if his preacher had ever asked him to pray about what he learns to ask God if it is true (The Book of Mormon encourages this multiple times) and he said no. So we encouraged him to do this. We saw him last night and had a really good lesson with him. At first before he had ever heard of the Book of Mormon he asked us to give him something that he can study to prove to him that our church was true. We both smiled and pulled out the Book of Mormon. We had a really good lesson after that. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and it is true. It is the keystone of our religion and because it is true we have the Lords Kingdom on Earth today for us to learn and grow from Prophets of God.

Ok second story, I have officially met Ussain Bolt........'s cousin. haha I tricked ya. But anyway his cousin lives in Old Harbour. We were walking back towards our house for the night and stopped and talked to this little kid. He told us his name and we both looked at each other and said. The same Bolt as Ussain Bolt. And he said they were cousins. We asked his mother and she conferred the truth. I got a picture with him ;)

After that little incidence we saw the Mad Woman that I was telling Tyler about. She always comes up to Elder Montgomery and I but she usually tries to give me stuff. Every time we have seen her she has given me something. One time it was a Mongo, and another time she tried to give me a bag full of fish. If you say no to her she starts cussing and yelling at you. Well during our last encounter with her she came up to me and I'm not exactly sure what she said because I still am not sure what anybody says but she wanted me to take the piece of paper that was in a plastic bag and put the information on it on the computer, she also had a bouquet of Callaloo. Oh yeah she thinks she is white but she has just been in Jamaica too long so she is black now. And then she looked at Elder Montgomery and gave him the bouquet of Callaloo. Well to make a long story short we looked at the paper and on it was written her Name and Number. haha her name was Pinkeeeberry Gold!!!! With three e's we laughed and laughed and laughed over that.

Then not 30 minutes after we got to the house we were studying and all of a sudden we heard a bunch of popping noises!!! I start to panic and Elder Montgomery jumps up and is running covering his head and for some reason instead of standing up I start to fall down. I think in this moment of panic why am i falling when I am sitting in my chair. Noises are coming from every which direction. And then the next thing I know I'm on the ground. Well the back legs of my chair broke and went into like 5 different pieces and every direction. The popping noise was my chair giving way. Once we realized the swat team didn't descend on us all I could do is lay there and laugh. Well that is all for this week I hope everything is going great for you all.
