Zone Conference

Family!!! and Friends!!!

How is everybody doing this week. I'm glad to see all the emails this week. They really do make the week go that much better. This week was really long but looking back it wasn't at all. I don't really know how to explain it all haha. One thing I do know is that this Mission really is the best thing in the world. This week has been a really good week to learn. On Monday night we went to spanish town and stayed the night in the Zone Leaders house (They had air conditioning!!!). There were three companionship's and only 5 mattresses. So one companionship had to double up and thank goodness it wasn't me!!! It was a long night because I didn't have a pillow and I guess I had been snoring lately and Elder Montgomery told everyone I snore so I was trying to lay on my side all night. Haha

Well the reason we stayed in spanish town was because of Zone Conference in the big city of Kingston. The next morning we bussed to Kingston in this big yellow bus that was packed to the brim. We stood the whole ride and all i could think of is how i had learned early how to ride on things standing because of all the hay racks i have rode on over frozen cow turds. It was definitely a skill that I had developed for a reason.

The Zone Conference was awesome. The Assistants gave a really good lesson on raising the bar. How if what we are doing isn't working change or improve what we are doing until it does work. Also President Hendricks spoke to us about what kind of missionary we need to be. It was really inspiring and an inspired topic to talk on. It really improved the quality and my attitude all week.

The next day after the zone conference, we didn't have one appointment fall through!!! It was amazing to see the blessings of doing what the Lord wants us to do. The other night sad to say it I got cold. I'm getting soft. It was probably 80 degrees in the house and I woke up cold.

Also this week we only were able to go jogging one time. One morning i woke up really beat and sore and it was from all the traveling and walking we did the day before.  But one thing I have learned is that it feels good to feel tired if something was accomplished that day.

There was a quote given in church yesterday about work and it goes "Doing nothing is the hardest work there is because there is no time to rest" without work rest means nothing. When we have given everything we have and we feel that accomplishment it makes rest seem that much better.

The pictures are of me and Elder Montgomery and one with us and Elder Randal. They are both going home in August. Elder Randal and Elder Montgomery are really good friends I see him quite a bit. Well i love you all and hope this week goes good.

Love Elder Stuart
