This week was super interesting!

Before I post Parker's weekly email I wanted to share a little bit of the email he sent me this week. He is so funny. I'm sure Elder Faumui wants to kill him sometimes for as goofy as he is.

"Elder Faumui told me this morning, he swears I am three years old because I acted like I put my hand on the hot iron and yelled. I just laughed because I thought to myself if only he could see me and my sister together and then he would understand."

Hello family and friends,

So this week has been super crazy. I don't even know where to begin. We have been having some success with member referrals. One of the Vet students, Brother Kolbaba has a couple of friends we are working with and they show a lot of promise. Their names are Sammi and Tina and they are from Texas. We went and had a family home evening with them and made our own pizzas and played sequence and Elder Faumui and I dominated on sequence. It was no surprise to us haha just teasing I'm surprised because i haven't played that game in so long.

Also this week we were having a lesson with Sister Workman and we received a referral for the Prime Minister of Canada!! Brother and Sister Workman are profound business people in Canada and they want help on sharing the gospel with the Prime Minister of Canada. Crazy huh?

We had a few service opportunities this week. One day we went and changed a tire for a member and it was so much fun. haha It was nice to get a little grease and tar on my hands haha. Elder Faumui had never changed a tire before so it was totally all up to my remembrance but it wasn't that hard in the end.

We also helped a lady put up a fence in her front yard and that was a fun time as well. It wasn't anything that what i am used to but it was still fun. It was like 10 yards of chain link fence and today we are going to go help her put up the gate. Also we had two of our appointments fall through one day this week and on our way trying to figure out who we should go see we pass these people with pitchforks throwing a bunch of bushes in the back of a truck so we stop and help. Well it turns out that the people there had seen some older people trying to clean this yard and so they were serving as well and then we helped. Not many people have ever seen two young men in white shirts and ties with scriptures stop and throw bushes on the back of a truck haha. They agreed to sit down with us sometime this week so hopefully it turns into something.

Well that was out week and it was quite successful. We have three new promising investigators this week but i am afraid we are going to have to move on from some people who are not progressing. But that is life. I love you all and can't wait to hear from you next week. Keep smiling!

Love Elder Stuart
