Hello Everybody!!
So this week coming is my year mark!! crazy huh? I cannot believe it has gone by so fast.
So we found out some pretty crazy news this week. Elder Faumui is being transferred tomorrow morning at 5:30 am. He has to be at the air port at that time and i just cannot believe that it is his time to go and now i am in charge of Cayman for a little while. I'm not worried though because the new elder coming in is a great elder. His name is Elder Ambrose and he is from Trinidad. Elder Faumui trained him back in Jamaica. He is a tall black man who plays ball and has been a member for only 5 years. That is about all i know about him but i am excited to serve with him.
So it sounds like everybody is doing well this week again so that is a good thing. This week a couple from Utah came to visit and everybody here knows them. There names are the Thorstensons and they are an extremely faithful couple. They have been a mission president and wife and now he is a temple sealer and she is a temple worker. We went and ate at our branch mission leaders house and they were there. Anyway we told them who we were and where we were from and Brother Thorstenson went off on this history of Woodruff and Ephriam haha. It was nice to talk to someone who not only knew where Woodruff was but knew a lot about Woodruff. It kinda took me off guard. They are extremely nice people and they talked in church. Elder Faumui talked in church as well and he did great. Everybody loves elder Faumui and he will be greatly missed by the people here.
So in other news we are going to start an English class for people who do not know English. The good part about it is you do not have to know other languages to teach it. It is a program put out by the church called the daily dose program and it is an awesome missionary tool. It is going to be interesting. I hope it works out the way we are planning. There are a lot of people here who somehow speak little to no English. I am excited to get that going.
Well not much has happened this week but is has been a great week. WE had three progressing investigators this week and a whole bunch of potential investigators at church that we can start working with. I love you all so much and I love this gospel. It truly does bring so much peace to know that families can be together forever. Remember to be faithful!
Love Elder Stuart
