New Companion

Hola!!!

I do not know why I just used Spanish haha. Well this week has officially been the craziest week so far in the mission. It hasn't been the greatest week ever either. I guess I will start my story right about now..... So it all started on Wednesday. On Wednesday we have not just one appointment blow out but every single appointment and the back-ups blow out but one. It was not a good way to have a Wednesday. And throughout the days before we had appointments blow us out but not as many. Well on Wednesday while eating dinner we get a phone call from President Hendricks. Elder Grant answers the phone and talks for a minute with him and then when he is off the phone he says., "President is in Old Harbour and he needs to talk with me". So he is all worried about it and i tell him not to worry at all. Well President Hendricks and Elder Grant are talking for like 10 minutes. Then President Hendricks comes and talks to me and tells me what is going on. Well come to find out that Jamaica didn't accept Elder Grant's work permit and he has to leave on Monday (today). So today Elder Grant left just like that. I have a new companion named Elder Mathewson he is from Las Vegas. So yes this week has been super crazy. I am really sad to already see Elder Grant go he is a great missionary. He has had a mission reassignment to Scotland. He flies out tonight. Scotland is getting a great missionary. Elder Mathewson came out a transfer after me but he is a good missionary. He had a really good trainer. We are going to have great success here together. Who knows what next transfer will bring.

Conference was amazing. I think it is the first time i have ever watched it all the way through sad to say but it was totally awesome. I can't believe the big missionary announcement. The prophets and apostles are really inspired by God. I had a lot of things running through my head this week and conference couldn't have come at a better time. Every speaker said something to help me out. We didn't have any investigators come because the only way people could watch it is if they had internet which is rare or if they traveled 30 minutes to Spanish town or maypen to the nearest chapel. Old Harbour doesn't have the video equipment to be able to broadcast it.

Ann Marie has been having a lot of challenges as well I hope she stays strong through them. Today was fun though. We were able to go to Mandeville and see a little bit of the island so that was really fun. And i got to see Elder Faumui today. Well everything is going good otherwise. I am healthy and serving God, what more can ya ask for. I love ya all and can't wait until next week.

Love Elder Stuart

ps mom i got your package and I also got a letter from C-bart so that was exciting.
