How is everyone this week? All I know is that this week has been really crazy. A lot has happened. Well Lets start at the beginning: So on Monday I got a new companion named Elder Mathewson. He is really cool and was actually in the military before he came. We get a long great and we have been working really good together. I might be leaving Old Harbour next transfer now though. Elder Mathewson came out one transfer behind me and Old Harbour is a training area and if I stayed and trained I would be here until January so I am thinking I am either going to leave this transfer or the next.
Next story is really funny but it is an old one that i forgot to tell you last week. So last week there was this mad man and for some reason he does not like me. Elder Grant and I was riding our bicycles through the middle of town and this man leaps to the ground with a piece of sugar cane and looks at me like he is going to eat me and he has a piece of sugar cane in his hand. Well i do the only thing i know how to do ad that is go around him. So as I go around him he jabs at my tire with this sugar cane and tries to stick it in between my spokes to my bicycle. It was really funny. Elder Grant was laughing his head off. And then the next day as we were riding we hear someone yell "OYE!!" And turn around and I see the same mad man. He then makes a mad dash after me and he was actually gaining on me for a minute. He didn't see Elder Grant so he was running between me and Elder Grant and Elder Grant was literally dying laughing when we got to our final destination. It was really funny.
But now the sad news about it. So a couple of days ago we were eating at KFC and we see some cop cars fly by. Well come to find out that there was a shooting in the middle of town. Two people were killed. I don't know the whole story but I guess some people were troubling this mad man and he got mad and started throwing rocks and he hit a cop. Well somehow and for some reason the cop shot at the mad man and ended up killing him and somebody else ended up dead too. Crazy huh? I'm thinking it was this same mad man but i don't know. Well they had the whole square in the middle of town taped off for like an hour and everybody was stopped.
Well everything else is going good. Ann Marie was at church and she has a baptism date for Nov. 3 so that will be really exciting. This week on Wednesday is Zone Conference and there will be a general authority there. Elder Zivic of the seventy will be there so we have to look our best. I am really excited for it. Well I love you all and can't wait to hear from you next week.
