Dear Family and Friends,
Seriously, i don't even know what happened. The last two years feel like a blur. This week i reached two years away from home. It sounds like a long time when you say it like that but honestly it hasn't felt that long. When days and weeks go by as fast as they have been.
This week we sent 4 youth to the temple to do baptisms and they came back on Saturday. Demany went with them and he was so happy. When he came to church on Sunday he had this huge smile on his face and i asked him how was the temple and he said AWESOME and gave me a huge hug. He kept asking me when he can go back. He showed us all a bunch of pictures and everything as well.
On Saturday we were having an lesson with our investigator Alwayne. Alwayne is so awesome. He has changed so much and sacrificed so much to keep the commandments. He has already read all of 1Nephi and he keeps having spiritual experiences with the Book of Mormon. His family is pretty well all opposed to us seeing him and the church but that never stopped him.We talked to him about repentance and forgiveness and what it feels like and then shared the story of Enos. After he read about Enos and how his faith had made him whole he expressed to us how originally when he first met us he had a lot of doubts and he had heard a lot of bad things about us but he said he doesn't judge people like that so he listened to us. Ever since that day he has felt the gospel come into his life and has changed. He said "I know that God exists because of the gospel you shared with me" It was so awesome and spiritual. I almost started crying but i didn't. He is getting baptized the weekend after I go home along with another one of our investigators.
This week we also had a beach party. It was for Easter and we the missionaries put it together. We played capture the flag and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and everybody loved it. Jamaicans aren't used to stuff like that but they had a lot of fun. I have made a lot of friends out here. I love them.
Well, Family i love you all and thank you for your continued support and encouragement. Thanks for your love. I love you all so much. Keep the faith and never doubt it.
Love Elder Stuart
