Well this week has once again been the greatest!! I am not going to lie though, Satan is really putting up a fight. We had another great turnout at church, 47. We also have an awesome investigator named Alwayne who is definitely being put to the test. Yesterday morning he was planning on coming to church. He said the day started off bright and sunny and optimistic. Well as he was getting ready for church one of his family members who is schizophrenic wasn't taking his medication and started ransacking the house and breaking all kinds of things so he wasn't able to make it to church. He had to stop the man and call the cops. Boy oh boy was that a downer. I have seen a lot of sad things in Jamaica that really make me appreciate all that i have been given. Also it has given me a greater understanding of the INFINITE AND ETERNAL ATONEMENT OF THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. All that is unfair about life can be made right through the atonement. I also have grown in my understanding and respect for the God given gift of agency. I pray everyday for the people i love to use their agency properly. I know that people can and do change every day. Please keep praying for the people of Jamaica. So I don't know if you all remember Damany. Well ever since he was re activated he has been advanced to a priest and is preparing to go to the temple to do baptisms at the end of April. He is the one with hearing problems. This week we practiced with him speaking the Sacrament prayer. He is only partially deaf so he can speak a little. It sounds muffled though. Well he did the prayer this Sunday and it was flawless. I have been doing private Sunday school lessons with him so he learns and last week we learned about if we just trust in the Lord he will fill our mouths and that is just what happened this Sunday. Miracles happen everyday.
