Happy Monday!

Hello Everybody,

How has this week been for you all. It sounds like you have been pretty busy. Mom Lou and Kylee started school and Tyler soon goes!! It is amazing to me how fast time flies. I think I have said that every week when i email because truly time is flying. My first transfer back to Jamaica is almost over. Like a week and a half is left in this transfer.

Now talk about a crazy week. So this week was MLC (mission leadership council) as well as a training meeting. Elder Cornish of the mission presidency  and second quorum of the seventy came. Now that is a powerful man. I was able to shake his hand and sit in a meeting with him and few others. That was on Thursday and on Friday we had the training meeting. The training meeting was great. We and all the trainers and trainee's were able to hear from Elder Cornish and President Brown and there is a lot of new effective things that we are going to start to apply into our missionary work.

Yesterday President Brown came to our small branch and gave an excellent talk and also taught Sunday school. During Sunday school he taught the Doctrine of Christ from 2 Nephi 31. He read the last verse in that chapter and then asked every member who was there two questions. Who do you know who is not a member of the church? And Who else do you know? He was able to get us like 13 referrals. President Brown knows how to teach with the power and authority of his calling. There was a man come into the church who had no money food or shelter. Elder Adamson and I got him some water and a chair and Welcomed him. Well President Brown comes over and starts to talk to the man and tells him that no matter what he is going through right now the Gospel of Jesus Christ can help and that he should listen to the missionaries and that he is in the right place. Before we knew it the man was in tears. He stayed for the Sacrament and then the man departed.

Yesterday we had a sweet experience after church. An awesome member in the branch took us to see one of his friends. We walked to a pond with this investigator friend. It was a beautiful spot. There was mountains trees fish and cows and a pond. We have this discussion with this young lady and before we knew it she had been challenged to be baptized on September the 15 and she accepted. The spirit was so strong and that spot will forever be a sacred spot for that investigator friend.

That was pretty much the week. I get to go to Negril tonight for a trade off and wont be back to my area until Wednesday night. It is going to be a long couple of days but it should turn out to be effective. I will be in Negril all day Tuesday and then on Wednesday i will be taking public transportation to Sav La Mar for Zone Meeting and then Elder Adamson and I will be heading back to Santa Cruz. So I get to go on a little trip. It should be exciting. Anyway I love you all and appreciate you. Remember to do what you know you should do. After all that is how we become perfect.

Love Elder Stuart
