10 Months Already!

Dear Family and Friends,

Just so you are all aware I do not believe that 10 months ago I said good bye to everybody. It is flying by like you wouldn't believe. This week was crazy too. We have been working so hard. We literally get home and we are so tired we go to bed as soon as we are done planning and not even wait until the last minute. I don't really understand it because we drive around in a car all day from appointment to appointment.

Well some people we have been working with have been through hell and back this week. We are teaching a girl named Tamara. She works at Cari Loha as an intern. Cari Loha is owned by a Mormon and gets Mormon couples from Utah to work there and help the church while they are here. Well this Couple referred us to Tamara. Well to say the least Tamara is awesome. She read and took notes on the restoration pamphlet. We met with her and she was so excited about it. The first time we met with her she was saying how much she is second guessing whether or not God exists and the next time after she dominated the pamphlet she had no doubt in her mind that God existed. She is 18 and is married with a child and her husband is abusive. Her mom is anti Mormon and she has anti Mormon co workers. Every second since we have been meeting with her satan hasn't let up. It is really sad. Well she came to church yesterday and it was soooo crowded and to make a long story short she left early because she didn't like it. We were so down and depressed. She was our only investigator we had at church.

We have another investigator named Martina. Martina is the nicest lady in the world. This week as she has started to work with us she has lost her job and car and she has no way of paying her bills and she is in a fight with her boyfriend. It breaks my heart to see these people go through such hard trials but it is such a testimony to me of how true this gospel really is. If it wasn't true it would be like eating a slice of cake to get into the church. It really shows how much God trusts his elect children.  If they come off conqueror think of how strong of a testimony they will have.

We also have another investigator named Sunday. This little lady has the biggest heart in the whole world but is suffering from severe depression. The Gospel and church are her best options. She has  done everything she can physically and psychologically but it isn't working. Her spirit is depressed. She needs spiritual nourishment and so that is what we are going to give her. So to say the least satan has been putting in his hours. 

President Hendricks and Sister Hendricks visited the island this week. They were awesome. They both spoke in church. President Hendricks can make anybody in the whole world feel like a million bucks. He just loves everybody. I love those two.

I know one thing is that unfortunately there must be opposition in all things. I am grateful for this gospel and the power and authority given to the world in these latter days. There is hope and there are a lot of people out there that need this. They are kept from the truth because they no not where to find it. I love you all and i want you all to know that today is the day of our salvation, and tomorrow and the next. Make them count.
