Another week...gone?!?!?!

Hey Family!

Cheese and Peas!! I cannot believe another week has come and gone. Time flies!!! It sounds like everybody is busy busy busy!! That is good and I bet everybody is excited for the Christmas season. There is Christmas decorations everywhere here but same way it is just not the same. Word on the street is it is snowing right now there? That sounds fun.

Gramps party sounds like it is gonna be happening. Where are you going to have it? For me this week has been crazy!! We had a grand total of 6 investigators at church!! Can you believe that?! I was in shock haha. Only two of them made it to sacrament on time though but that is alright because that means something in what we are doing is working so I better keep doing it.

So I have a story from last week that I forgot to tell you guys. So Last week Elder Egan and I were minding our own business locking the church gate behind us as we were taking our lunch break when suddenly we heard a bunch of people screaming. Then we see this guy running really fast past us and I am thinking screams, guy running, wha gwan then a guy runs past with a gun!! He is chasing this other guy down with a gun and instead of taking the flight option in the whole situation i freeze and just watch. Yes I know what was I thinking. So i am just staring thinking that it is just a movie or something then I look at elder Egan and he is just staring as well. Then i say, "Elder Egan, we need to get outta here!!" So being the person that I am I fumble around with the pad lock and then we book it up to the church. It was an intense 30 seconds of my life and I am glad nothing happened. Yes you definitely see something new everyday livin' in Jamaica.

Today we had a fun p-day but at the same time it wasn't fun because now we just got back to may pen from Spanish Town and i have hardly anytime to email and we have to be back to the house and changed and proselyting by 6. It is a good think I woke up at 5:30 to wash my clothes again or i would be so behind.

Well I don't think i am going to be able to shower before i go out. Oh well it was worth it. We went to spanish town and played soccer and capture the flag in the rain and ate some delicious jerk chicken. The Christmas devotional was awesome. What good messages. Who knew that it is a good thing to learn how to recieve gifts. Well I love you guys and I can't wait until next week. Have a wonderful Hollidays.

Love Elder Stuart
