Goat Tripe?

Hello Everybody,

Well how is everybody this week? It sounds like everybody is having a really happy Christmas season. Grampa's Birthday looked like it was quite the celebration which it should have been.

Well all my packages at the office are the talk of the mission. haha. Everybody who goes tells me how many packages i have haha. I am one loved Elder and I thank you all for that love.

So just so everybody knows I couldn't avoid weird food forever. So this week one of our investigators, Pauline, made us dinner. Well we get there and for our appetizer we have this soup. I don't really know what is in it but I eat it anyways. At the end after we leave I ask one of the Jamaican Missionaries what it was and he said Goat Tripe soup. So i ask what the heck is goat tripe. Well come to find out the chewy substance that i was eating was goat intestines and hoof!!!! bleh. Elder Egan was laughing really hard when we found out what it was because he said that I had a look on my face the whole time I was eating said that my unsurity of what I was eating was affecting my dinner.

This week flew by super fast I don't' even know what happened. I know we got rained on a couple times and one time we took cover under some zinc one of our investigators use for their veranda. We still got wet but not as wet as we would have gotten if we would have stayed out in the rain.

So Old Harbour was supposed to have a baptism on Saturday, one of the people i used to teach, but she didn't show up to her own baptism. I felt super bad for Elder Mathewson. This morning we hiked up to this place up on a water tower thing and took our picture it was pretty fun. We met a really cool investigator this week named Elroy. He even started crying in the first lesson. He didn't come to church though that was a bummer. We had three investigators at church but they all missed the sacrament so we couldn't count them as progressing.

This week is transfers and I am staying in May Pen thank goodness. One transfer here would have been too short. Elder Diehl is leaving maypen. He will be missed. Well that is all i can think of this week. Well the church is true and if ya don't know that read the Book of Mormon haha. Well i love you all and Can't wait until next week.
