Haircut??

Hello Family and Friends,

How is all this week? Everything here in Jamaica is going great. I am still learning a lot and learning to rely on God more than ever. This week was super hot!!! I am dying and the sunscreen wears off by the time i reach the end of the road in the morning so it doesn't do a whole lot of good. 

Well for story number 1 Last Monday we went to the barber shop to get a hair cut. Well I get there and I need one very very bad but then I remember when Elder Montgomery got a hair cut from the same barber and they did not cut it the way he was expecting it to be cut. Well I just shrugged off the thought and got my hair cut. Well Lo and behold when I was done and looked in the mirror and i had a Jamaican hair cut. I was lined up and everything. It was hilarious and embarrassing at the same time. So the whole week i have a sunburnt scalp haha. I guess if we can't learn from the mistakes of others we have to rely on our own right? 

This week we also had another really cool experience with one of our investigators. Her name is Ann Marie. We have been preparing her for baptism this week and encouraging her to read from the Book of Mormon everyday and one night this week she sent us a text message which read "Good night mishenery (how Jamaicans say Missionary) , i just got done reading from the Book of Mormon and i prayed. the most amazing feeling came to me after i prayed. I started to cry. The Book of Mormon is true. - Ann Marie" It was an amazing feeling when i read the message myself. Well come Sunday she didn't show up. I was really down in the dumps and when we went to see her she said. "I'm not going to lie, i went to my church today. When i was there the whole time it didn't feel right and i was uncomfortable. . So i got up and went home. I regret not being at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

Hopefully today I can get my bike tire fixed so we can have bikes this week. It will be nice to be able to go to the further places of the area without taking a taxi. I am excited. 

Also today we are having a plumber come to fix our kitchen sink which leaks and also our tub which leaks. Hopefully we can get everything we need in town and be back in time to clean the house a little bit before he comes. Well I love you all and can't wait to hear from you again next week.
