Hey Family,
I'm gonna do the family one first this time so I will be able to write what I want to. I ran out of time last week. But this week has been great. I am learning so much everyday. My testimony has grown more in the last month than in my whole life. It is crazy to think about.
Ok story number 1. I finally got my bike this week and the first day we go out like three hours into it I get a flat tire. Earlier that day we had three or so investigators cancel and then my bike decides it doesn't want to be a missionary bike anymore and it takes a kerplunk. As soon as it does lo and behold it starts to rain on us and we have to walk like 2 miles back to our house. I don't know how far it was exactly but it felt like that. So we are feeling pretty picked on but when we go over our goals and how many lessons we've actually taught and new investigators we realized that maybe God did know what he was doing. I'll tell ya what he sure does work in mysterious ways.
And now story number 2. We were teaching this lady named Faithlyn. She is a great lady and really has a desire to know whether or not these things are true. We are having a great lesson with her, she is really listening and making comments and asking questions and then we ask her if and when she got her answer if she would be baptized and she said........................................................................... pause for effect. NO!! we were shocked. Our hearts sank I was at a loss of words. She explained and said that she is still really attached to her church and some other things but she still wants to take lessons from us and it was worth investigating more. We explained to her that the only way she will get her answer is by reading praying and coming to church and she does the reading and praying part really well but as long as she doesn't come to church she wont get her answer. Church attendance is so important for anybody investigator and members.
But that is pretty well my week here. We walk everywhere so my feet get pretty sore but then I think back to fencing and this nothing haha. But i really am loving it here. It is crazy how fast you can love someone you hardly know. Anyway i love you all and i hope everything is going well there.
