So, mom has been waiting patiently to hear from Parker for a week now. She finally received a written letter from him saying he could email on Thursday. Mom has been checking her email about every 10 minutes just waiting to hear from him today and he finally wrote us at 5:20pm on Thursday so here it is. He sounds great! Enjoy.  PS. If you would like to Dear Elder him let me know and I can give you the instructions. sammi.stuart@asu.edu

Hey Family,
How are you all doing? Sorry for being so slow to write you. We were told not to write until pday which is today and then like on friday night they said to write our moms.  So I sent a letter on saturday and then one on monday.  I hope they got there in good time.  The MTC is litterally an AWESOME place.  You get to feel the spirit all day, you get to excercise for an hour and your never hungry.  It is a little weird following a schedule 24/7 but one day my companion and I wasn't able to plan because I had a district leader meeting and I felt like a lost pup all day haha.  We have the opportunity to teach "investigators" aka role play with our teachers and then there are some more investigators that we get to teach.  They some of them are just members with a conversion story and other are actual investigators they tell us.  But they don't tell us what the ones we are teaching are.  It is amazing how fast you learn here.  I feel like I have no knowledge of the gospel at some points and then other times I feel as if I'm reaching a portion of my brain I never knew I had.  It is kinda like that movie limitless. That is way exciting that you guys get to brand.  Tell everybody hi and that I sure do love getting Dear Elders (hint hint).  My companion is from Ephram Utah and is a samoan.  His name is Teancum Faumui and he is awesome. We have a really great connection with each other and he is also an awesome missionary. My district is also the best ever.  They are so cool. As you probably know that I was asked to be district leader and I don't really know why but i know heavenly father will help me do my duty.  There names are Elders Denny (California), Piutau(California), Wilson (California), Clark ( Hawaii).  They are all going to Salt Lake City South.  We also have two sisters.  They are Sisters Elsworth (Idaho), and Neslen (Holliday Utah).  Sister Elsworth has met Sam before because her parents are serving a couples mission in mesa and they go to the same old Scottsdale church that sam goes to.  She said that she remembers meeting her because she is the volleyball coach for ASU.   Anyway I am running out of time so I need to finish up.  I love you all and you are the best ever!!! I'm sorry about the slowness of my getting in contact with you.  Also I forgot my cord to put pictures on so if you can send that that would be awesome.  Also if you want to include anything else you may think I need. :) I saw Elder Davis a few times before he left and I also saw Kaleb a lot. He is in the same residence hall as me so I see him a lot.  I haven't been able to see kalen yet but I am trying really hard to find him.  I described him to my whole district so if they saw him they'd tell me and tell him that they are in my district. Anyway send letters and dear elders it is always fun to get mail.  It keeps me going kinda like that song "Letters from home" by toby keith.  Love you all and I'm sorry i can't send individual emails right now but i will send letters this week.
Love Parker
