Another week...Gone!

Hello Everybody,

How is the week going for you all? I hope it is going well. It sounds like you are all happy and moving forward. That is good. The week here has been very fulfilling.

This week Elder Ambrose and I really hit the ground running. We started out the week very well, we have really been searching for the most effective way to do missionary work and I have come to the conclusion that as long as we are following the spirit, we will be doing missionary work the way the Lord would have us do missionary work which in turn is the most effective way to do missionary work.

Not a whole lot happened this week. It has been more trial and error week. A lot of the people we are teaching are starting to fall off the radar so we are looking for new people to teach. It is so hard as a missionary to see these people we learn to love so much not accept the changes that the Lord wants to make in their life.

Something I read this week was talking about 4 missionaries. I think I have shared this with you all before but something new stood out to me. In the talk I was reading it was talking about 4 types of missionaries. Missionaries 1 and 2 there isn't a whole lot of difference they are both rebelliously disobedient to both the mission rules and the commandments. the difference is that missionary 1 either gets sent home or he chooses to go home and missionary 2 finishes his mission. Now missionary 3 and 4 are both exactly obedient except for the difference is that missionary 4 serves with his heart, might, mind, and strength whereas missionary 3 only serves with his might and strength. Missionary 3 is a great missionary and does a lot of good in helping others and he baptizes many. So does missionary 4. Missionary 3 is always comparing himself with others but missionary 4 does not. Missionary 4's biggest change is himself whereas missionary 3 returns home as the same person as when he left. The part that stood out to me this time was in it it said that the Lord can't change something he doesn't have. Not just missionaries but also every person in the world will never be able to make that change unless they serve God with all their heart, might, mind,  and strength and then they can stand blameless before God at the last day. That was really the highlight of my week just trying my best to focus all of my efforts on the work. It is amazing the difference it has made.

ell family the work is going great. There isn't any place that I would rather be right now. Keep smiling and I absoloutely cannot wait until Sunday!! SEE you all soon.

Love Parker
