Cold? What Cold? It's a cool 85 here today!

Good afternoon everybody!!!!

It sounds like everybody is having a good time in the cold weather!! I honestly don't remember what it feels like to be cold haha.

So just in case everybody was wondering Pauline and Chrissy are scheduled to be baptized this week and are looking ready. Keep your prayers coming. They showed up 20 minutes early this week to church just to make sure nothing stops them. It gave me some confidence.

This week was an awesome week for Elder Egan and I. Something that I noticed that made a world of a difference is even if we get home and see that we had maybe 2 lessons instead of saying "we only had two lessons" we say "I'm grateful for those two lessons, today was such a good day!!". Because at zone meeting this week our zone leaders challenged us to have a positive attitude even when the going gets tough. So this week i tried it and boy let me tell you what the day i tried it it seemed to be everything would go wrong!! But i did my best and at the end of the week it had been one of the best weeks of the mission and there was room for improvement!!! It is amazing how much of a difference your attitude can make on your life.

Also this week we helped Pauline and Chrissy light their road up with candles because Pauline's FAther in law passed away. Here in Jamaica when someone passes away they light the roadside with little candles and it really look s cool. It was fun to do that with them.

This week we had a downer when one of our investigators baby father came out and told us that we are not welcome to his yard and that our investigator Melissa doesn't ever want to see us again!! I was pretty down about that but I did my best to remain positive.

We are seeing a lot of new people and working really well with the members here. They are all doing really well at fellow-shipping when we bring investigators to church. We are working with a new investigator named Filora and she shows a lot of potential.

Well I love ya all and I am praying for you. Remember whose kids ya are and what you stand for!! haha

Love Elder Stuart
