Family and Friends!!
How is everybody doing this week? Well if you haven't seen the picture yet, PAULINE AND CRISSY GOT BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY!!!! It was the most awesome day ever!!
Well that morning was transfer calls and i got a call to so serve in the Cayman Islands!! I leave for the mission home tonight and fly out for Cayman tomorrow morning!! I get to serve with Elder Faumui (companion for MTC) in the Cayman islands of all places haha. They don't mess around here. I still have a ton of thing to pack.
Well the rest of that day was crazy. We had district conference in Mandeville so we had to taxi to Mandeville and make it back for the the baptism by 6:30. Well we were working our butts off this week. The baptism was a very spiritual experience and truly is a testimony to me of the priesthood authority that is on the earth today.
This week we also had Zone Conference and it was a very inspiring meeting. On Sunday they had a whole Caribbean area conference that was broadcasted to all the branches and Elder Russell M. Nelson of the Quorum of the 12 apostles spoke and it was a wonderful talk. I wish it would have been next week though because Pauline and Crissy have to wait a week to be confirmed!! Oh well they are strong enough to wait a week.
I guess in Cayman they do have a washer and drier, air conditioning, and a car. I am going to gain more weight if I'm not careful haha. They say everybody feeds you out there. Elder Strickland is coming here with Elder Egan. If you don't remember Elder Strickland was the Elder i was supposed to train the very first time but he had visa problems.
Well this week has been the week that has made the last eight and a half months worth it!!! Sometimes we have to work a little harder for blessings than we think we have to but that just makes us appreciate them more and the more faithful you are the sweeter they become. Well that is all for this week. I love you all and next time i email i will be in GRAND CAYMAN!!!
Love Elder Stuart
PS. Thanks everybody for the Christmas cards. I just got a whole bunch this last week. They brightened my day!!
