Dear Family,
This week has been awesome. We had a lot of good things happen. Conference was great. I loved all the talks that we were able to hear. We unfortunately missed a few talks due to internet connection and power outages. Only, Pres Monson's, Uchdorf's and Eyring"s priesthood session, Hollands all of the ones I look forward to every year. But that is ok because they are recorded and i will see them again.
A cool story this week. We had a crazy day where everything fell through. We just had to keep on truckin all day. Well we get to the end of our day and it is about 7:30 and we find ourselves out in front of our house. Very tempting to end the day right there. Well instead of doing that we see our neighbors out just chillin in the evening breeze so we go up an talk to them. Well we find out that they had lived across from the missionaries for the last 6 years and the missionaries had never stopped and talked to them. Come to find out that they are both married and both have cars and both have jobs and are moving to the richest part of Yallahs this week. They accepted to meet with us and we got their numbers!! I was so excited. Stuff like that doesn't happen everyday.
Also not so great story about the week but i know that in the end it was for my profit and learning. Elder Adams and I went to the church to set up everything for conference and we were in the church for about 30 minutes so we parked our bicycles outside on the veranda of the church. Well we go back out after we get it figured out and lo and behold my brand new perfect bicycle is gone. Somebody stole it!! Well i just need to stop being so trusting and be a little more careful from what i have decided. But it is a good thing i have friends out here. One of the Elders in Kingston who is in a truck is letting me borrow his bicycle in the meantime. Hopefully it all works out for the better.
Well there is good and bad but in the end the bad only makes you better. Thanks family for all you do. You mean so much to me. Don't worry about me i love my mission. Nothing is too hard especially when the Lord expects it out of you.
Love Elder Stuart
