Montego Bay

Good Morning family,

So this week has been really awesome if you want to know the truth. We had MLC (Mission Leadership Council) this week in Kingston and it took about three hours to get there and then we had a six hour meeting and then we had a five hour drive back to Montego Bay. We went through every parish but three i think. On the way home we stopped in Hopeton and had a short meeting with the elders there. MLC is really cool. It is a council of about 12 people including President and Sister Brown. We learn so much from it.

Also this week we saw one of our new investigators and his name is Brother Gardner. His whole family is members but they just recently moved back to Jamaica from England. They had lived in England for most of their lives. They are retired and very rich. Well Brother Gardner is really excited about the Book of Mormon and so is Sister Gardner. We had a very powerful lesson about the Book of Mormon this week and had a kneeling prayer with him and he had a very powerful moment with the Holy Ghost. We are really excited to have him in our teaching pool.

I have been reading a lot about miracles lately, mostly because President Brown has been teaching us about the Lord hastening his work. He read with us Mormon 9 and talked about how to hasten the work in Jamaica is going to take faith and miracles. I also read a scripture in Ether 12:12-16 about the power of ones faith. It is really amazing to me that if we but believe and act we can produce miracles. Just a thought i figured i would leave with  you.

Well family i love you so much. I thank Heavenly Father for the miracle it is to have a great family like you. Thanks for everything.

Love Elder Stuart
