Dear Family,
How is everybody this week? It sounds like everything is going great. This week for me has been really great. We have had a lot of miracles happen in the field. Heavenly Father is really hastening his work.
This week we had Zone Meeting where Elder Lacey and I teach the whole zone about things and then help them grown in faith. Well our main focus was Our Purpose as missionaries and Miracles. If you get the chance read Mormon 9 in the BOM. As you well know baptisms take a lot of work here. Well a general authority came to Jamaica and told us that we should be getting at least a baptism a week. Now that takes a lot of faith and miracles. Well nothing short of Heavenly Father can do that but we have to be doing everything we possibly can. Well after Zone Meeting everybody really felt it. Our zone hasn't had a baptism in 1 1/2 transfers and yesterday we had three and next week we have three more that i know of. Now this is for our zone. From now on it is expected to have a baptism a week per companionship and I am so excited to see that start happen.
Also this week we had some awesome discussions. We had a great discussion with Brother Gardner about the Plan of Salvation. He loves the Plan and the Book of Mormon because that is how we have been teaching him all this. All of his questions are being answered through the Book of Mormon.
Today in a taxi I had a really cool experience. We were driving to Mobay this morning and I started talking to a taxi driver and some how our conversation turned to the topic of hope. I started to tell him what helps me have hope and the plan of salvation and eventually to the Book of Mormon. He was really interested in the Book of Mormon. The spirit was so strong in the taxi and when we left he said, " I really like you Mormons". we are going to be giving him a call soon.
Well that was the week and it was absolutely awesome. I really can't wait until next week to see what it has to bring. I love you all. Keep being the best you can be.
Love Elder Stuart.
