What happened to FEBRUARY? All i know is that time is going really really fast and i am not used to it. This week was great. We had 49 people at church!!! Not to mention we are going to have 1 missionary leave soon, one member go through the temple and 4 youth go to Panama to do baptisms!! The Lord is definitely pouring out his spirit out on this area.
We have a really awesome investigator right now. His name is Alwayne. He is 17 but he is super interested and motivated to change. We found him through a less active and now not only is Alwayne changing but so is his less active friend. Well, We had a really awesome lesson with Alwayne by reading 3 Nephi 18 about the sacrament. After we asked him what he understood about it. He said that Christ said that it is a commandment to partake of the sacrament. Well the sacrament rolled around on Sunday and Alwayne is not there.... Well there is 5 minutes until the sacrament meeting ends and here come Alwayne. But he is walking with this really old man who everybody knows and we always welcome him to church. Well Alwayne had been walking with him to church. Alwayne would walk three or four steps and then stop and wait for this old man. Now it take about a half an hour for this old man to walk 100 yards as slow as he walks and this 17 year old young man walked with him. I was so proud.
Also my good friend Demany (the young man who speaks sign language) was advanced to be a priest in the Aaronic Priesthood this week. I was very happy to see that. Also I interviewed 3 men for the Melchizedek Priesthood. Great things are happening. I love this mission.
